Atmospheric electricity motortuning and storm chasers
The Earth’s electromagnetic network is better known to many as atmospheric electricity. Static electricity is one part of atmospheric electricity, and refers electric charge which has built up on an objects surface.
Many people experience static shocks when walking round with supermarket trolleys, or when getting in and out of cars. Children often find static fun as it can make their hair stand on end, and balloons stick to walls and their tummies, but static shocks can also hurt, although mild ones are relatively unharmful.
Thunder and lightening are also associated with atmospheric electricity. Thunder always follows lightening, the reason for this is that the bolt of electricity that causes a lightening strike also produces thunder. The rumbling sound after the lightening has struck is thunder and this happens because the atmosphere around the lightening bolt has a heat of over 60,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat causes the air to expand and as it cools back down it contracts causing the sounds that we know as thunder. The closer overhead the lightening is the louder the thunder will sound.
There are people all over the world that commit their time to chasing storms, which are caused by atmospheric electricity. These people are known as storm chasers, they travel far and wide to experience the kind of storm that would terrify most. It is extremely dangerous and not recommended. Whether the storm is a fantastic thunder storm or a raging tornado these storm chasers will aim to get into the eye of the storm for the ultimate experience.
To chase these storms they often have to rent cars when travelling, these cars need to be in tip top condition to ensure that the storm chasing experience is a good one. So it is crucial that the vehicle is up to date on all service history, which includes Nissan Tuning and Motortuning.
Storm chasing is a dangerous and risky business, but a thrill for those who do it. No matter how bad the storm, there is always the hope that they will experience bigger and better next time.
